Propolis -- a powerful repairing agent
Medical
scientists have discovered an effective anti-cancer method: attack-initiate
repair-induce differentiation and apoptosis. There are a variety of drugs that
attack cancer cells, including moderate amounts of chemotherapy, radiation, and
herbal remedies that fight poison with poison.
The commonly used anti-cancer repair agents are polysaccharides, such as
Fucoidan (Fucoidan), b-glucan, Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide, lentinan,
aloe polysaccharide, ginseng polysaccharide, astragalus
polysaccharide, Yunzhi polysaccharide, Polyporus polysaccharide, Poria
polysaccharide , Spirulina polysaccharide, Brazil
mushroom polysaccharide, black fungus polysaccharide and so on.
In
addition to polysaccharides, there is also a very outstanding and powerful
repair agent, that is propolis.
Propolis is a resin that is collected by bees from plant
spores or tree trunks, mixed with the secretions of palate glands and wax
glands of bees and processed repeatedly. It has an aromatic smell and its color is yellowish brown or dark brown. It has a strong
bactericidal effect and is used to bond the hive, smear it on the hive wall or
repair the hive, which can protect the hive from the invasion of external
bacteria and viruses.
The entrances and exits of the hive are
covered with propolis, which has a disinfecting
effect. When the worker bees enter the hive after harvesting honey, they will
rub their bodies against the entrance for disinfection to eliminate external
bacteria and viruses and maintain a sterile state in the hive. Research results
in recent years have shown that no virus can be detected inside the hive. Propolis keeps the nest free from mold,
so that honey, royal jelly and pollen will not go bad. Bees also apply propolis on the nests where the larvae grow to inhibit the
growth of pathogens and ensure the healthy growth of the larvae. If the corpse
of some insects or bees is too large to be transported outside the hive, the
bees will wrap it in propolis to mummify it to
prevent contamination of the entire hive. Ancient Egyptian mummies were also
sterilized and preserved using propolis, which can be
preserved for thousands of years without decay.
If a large amount of propolis is taken, it can also wrap the tumor
and prevent it from continuing to proliferate and spread. This was discovered
when the tumor was surgically removed.
The production period of propolis
is mostly summer and autumn. A colony of 50,000 ~60,000 bees can only produce
100 grams of propolis a year, which is an extremely
rare natural resource known as "purple gold". Propolis
has a low yield and is more precious than royal jelly.
Chemical composition:
Propolis collected from beehives usually contains 55% resin
and tree fragrance, about 30% beeswax, 10% aromatic volatile oil and 5% pollen
and inclusions. Propolis contains extremely complex
components, including flavonoids, acids, alcohols,
phenols, aldehydes, esters, ethers, alkenes, terpenes, steroids, and various amino acids, fatty acids,
sugars, polysaccharides, enzymes, vitamins, and various trace elements such as:
oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, calcium, phosphorus, nitrogen, potassium, sulfur, sodium, chlorine, magnesium, iron, cobalt, copper,
molybdenum, fluorine, aluminum, tin, silicon,
arsenic, selenium, titanium, vanadium, chromium, nickel, barium, zirconium,
antimony, cadmium, silver, lead, strontium, etc.
Main functions:
Modern studies have proved that propolis has various functions such as anti-inflammatory,
antibacterial, antipruritic, anti-oxidative,
immune-enhancing, hypoglycemic, hypolipidemic,
anti-tumor, etc. It has a wide range of medical and
health effects on the human body.
Promotes cell regeneration:
Propolis accelerates tissue regeneration and wound healing.
Animal experiments have shown that the treatment of experimental deep burns
with propolis has a shorter healing time and better
curative effect than that of general pharmaceutical treatments. Propolis accelerates the regeneration process of damaged
cartilage and bone. It can stimulate the regeneration of dental pulp injury,
promote the recovery of circulatory disorders, and stimulate the formation of
thick fiber bridges in the dental pulp.
Beauty effect:
It can decompose pigment spots, smooth
wrinkles, delay aging, eliminate acne and pimples, and also has a good effect
on acne scars and acne marks left by acne. Eating beeswax can reduce the
adhesion of dead keratinocytes in the outermost layer
of the skin, help remove keratinocytes, regulate skin
texture, smooth fine wrinkles, improve rough and dry skin, eliminate bedsores,
and lighten pigmented spots . Propolis
is also good for hair loss.
Anti-inflammatory effect:
Propolis has anti-inflammatory effects, and the
anti-inflammatory effect of propolis is stronger than
aspirin.
Antibacterial effect:
Propolis can sterilize, sterilize, inhibit bacteria, disinfect, prevent mildew,
and prevent corrosion. It is a natural broad-spectrum antibiotic, and has no
side effects, does not produce drug resistance, and does not destroy beneficial
bacteria. If used in combination with certain antibiotics, it can increase the
antibacterial power of these antibiotics and prolong their antibacterial
activity.
Antiviral effect:
Propolis is a natural antiviral substance, which has a
strong inhibitory and killing effect on a variety of viruses. Propolis has a strong anti-hepatitis B virus effect, and
can also inhibit HIV (HIV1) replication.
Antiprotozoal effect:
Propolis has a strong antagonistic effect on a variety of protozoa, such as Trichomonas vaginalis, Giardia lamblia, Toxoplasma, Eimeria, Trichomonas fowl, Trichomonas
small, etc.
Anti-oxidize effect:
Propolis is an effective antioxidant and free radical
scavenger, capable of scavenging a variety of active oxygen and free radicals.
Analgesic effect:
Propolis also has a good effect on anesthesia and
analgesia, and can improve neuralgia, joint pain, herpes zoster, and cancer
pain. The local anesthetic effect of propolis is comparable to other anesthetic
drugs. Putting propolis on the toothache can relieve
pain, and applying it on the wound can reduce inflammation and relieve pain.
Enhance immunity:
Propolis can strengthen the immune system, enhance the
vitality of immune cells, and regulate the body's specific and non-specific
immune functions. Propolis can significantly enhance
the phagocytosis of macrophages and the activity of
natural killer cells, enhance the production of antibodies, significantly
enhance the function of cellular immunity and humoral
immunity, have a strong functional adjustment to the thymus, spleen and the
entire immune system, and enhance the body's disease resistance, immunity and self-healing
power. Propolis has a very good effect on increasing
white blood cells. Patients with white blood cells at about 2000 can recover to
about 5000 after taking propolis for a period of
time.
Anti-allergy:
By adjusting immune function, propolis can improve allergic reactions. Propolis can improve hay fever, asthma, rheumatism,
collagen disease, lupus erythematosus, atopic
dermatitis, and urticaria.
Radiation resistance:
It can remove the free
radicals produced by radiation, repair the damage caused by radiation, reduce
the inhibition of hematopoietic function caused by radiation, and reduce the
risk of cancer caused by radiation.
Anticancer effect:
Propolis is rich in anti-cancer substances, and it has a good effect in
suppressing and fighting cancer. Moreover, propolis
does not harm healthy cells while killing cancer cells. Propolis
has the functions of preventing tumors, inhibiting canceration, killing cancer cells, and preventing
metastasis, but it has no side effects of anticancer drugs. Propolis
can also reduce the side effects caused by chemotherapy and radiotherapy, as
well as the side effects of steroid drugs.
Lower blood pressure and fat:
Propolis can reduce the harm of lipid peroxidation
to blood vessels, effectively remove accumulations on the inner walls of blood
vessels, prevent atherosclerosis, effectively reduce the content of
triglycerides, lower cholesterol, reduce platelet aggregation, and resist
thrombosis. Improve microcirculation, so it can prevent cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, such as high blood pressure,
heart disease, cerebral hemorrhage, stroke, etc.
Flavor and meridian distribution:
Neutral in nature, bitter, pungent, slightly sweet; meridian: liver and spleen.
Function Indications:
Emollient skin and muscle growth; anti-inflammatory
pain relief, burns, oral ulcers, periodontitis,
gastric ulcers, cervical erosion, herpes zoster, psoriasis, skin cracks, folliculitis, hidradenitis, seborrheic alopecia, alopecia areata,
corns, polyps , flat warts, common warts, eczema, pruritus,
neurodermatitis, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, radiation protection, sinusitis,
tonsillitis, nephritis, cystitis, upper respiratory tract inflammation,
pneumonia, otitis media, hearing impairment, etc.
Treating liver disease:
Propolis has a strong repairing effect on fatty liver and liver damage caused by
long-term drinking. It can effectively prevent alcoholic cirrhosis, reduce the
accumulation of fat in liver cells, and prevent fatty liver.
Propolis has a strong anti-hepatitis B virus effect, and propolis
can promote cell regeneration and help repair damaged liver cells, so it can
effectively treat hepatitis B. In this regard, experts at home and abroad have
done a lot of basic and clinical application research. In almost every
scientific book about propolis, successful cases of propolis treating hepatitis B can be seen.
Various comments:
1. "Northeast Animal Medicine": effective in treating
malignant tumors and trauma.
2. Jiangxi "Chinese Herbal Medicine": It protects
granulation tissue, is beneficial to wound healing, and is also effective for chapped
skin.
3. "Chinese Journal of Dermatology": Treatment of corns,
calluses, warts and common warts.
Safety:
Propolis has no toxic and side effects, is safe and reliable, even if you eat 1
kg, it will be safe, and you can rest assured for long-term consumption.
Long-term use has a comprehensive adjustment and repair effect on various
organs of the human body.
Dosage:
It is best for cancer patients to take 20 drops 3
times a day.
How to consume:
It is best to take it after mixing with warm water,
so that it has no pungent and spicy taste.
You can directly drop the propolis
into your mouth, then drink some water, let the propolis
and water fully mix and swallow, so as to achieve the best effect. This method
can treat oral mucosal ulcers. Propolis can also be
drunk with fruit juice or tea, but the color, aroma
and taste of these beverages will be affected, and propolis
is easy to stick to the cup wall, resulting in waste.
Allergic reaction:
Clinical application has found that only a very
small number of people are allergic to propolis, and
the allergy rate is about 0.3%. Those who have a history of allergies should do
an allergy test before taking propolis. The general
allergic reactions are: contact dermatitis caused by external use of propolis, mucosal congestion and edema
caused by oral administration of propolis, and asthma
attacks.
Allergy test method:
For external use, apply one drop of the test
product on the inside of the wrist, and if there is no reaction within half an
hour, it is safe; for internal use, the minimum amount should be used for
trial, and if there is no reaction within half an hour, it is safe.
Propolis is non-toxic, and the allergic reaction is entirely due to the allergic
constitution of the user, such as some people are allergic to pollen in the
air.
Children under the age of two are best not to take propolis, because it is easy to cause allergic reactions.
Anti-cancer mechanism:
Propolis is extremely rich in various active ingredients. The natural
combination of these substances and their synergistic effects endow propolis with good anti-cancer and repairing functions.
Propolis has broad-spectrum anti-cancer properties, and has inhibitory and
therapeutic effects on a variety of cancers, including: liver cancer, lung
cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, colorectal cancer, bladder cancer,
prostate cancer, stomach cancer, skin cancer, thyroid cancer, oral cancer,
throat cancer, brain tumor, kidney cancer, lymphoma, cholangiocarcinoma, pancreatic cancer, leukemia,
sarcoma, etc.
Propolis is rich in anti-cancer substances, some of which can directly inflict
injuries on cancer cells, but this is not the main mechanism of propolis’ anti-cancer properties, moreover its ability to
directly kill cancer cells is still insufficient. The most valuable effect of propolis lies in its powerful repair function, which can
repair at the level of cell membrane and nucleus, and induce the
differentiation or apoptosis of cancer cells.
Like polysaccharides, propolis
can effectively regulate and enhance immune function, and under the leadership
of immune function, induce cancer cell differentiation or apoptosis.
Attack-initiate repair-induce differentiation and
apoptosis, is an effective anti-cancer mechanism. Since the ability of propolis to directly attack cancer cells is not strong
enough, it must be used together with aggressive medications to force cancer
cells to start the repair mechanism and induce differentiation into normal
cells or apoptosis according to the degree of damage.
Clinical anti-cancer experience shows that many
cancer patients who are treated with chemotherapy and
radiotherapy, if they take propolis at the same time,
can not only reduce the side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, but also
effectively eliminate cancer cells and achieve clinical cure. Using
radiotherapy and chemotherapy alone has no such effect, and it is difficult to
completely eliminate cancer cells only with propolis.
Only the combination of the two can effectively fight cancer, because it
conforms to the mechanism of "attack-start repair".
The dose and goal of current chemotherapy and
radiotherapy are to completely eliminate cancer cells, not just inflict
injuries on cancer cells and then start the repair mechanism with the
assistance of repair agents to achieve the purpose of differentiation and
apoptosis. The dose of radiotherapy and chemotherapy should be reduced so as
not to cause unnecessary harm. Many herbal medicines that "fight poison
with poison" can better replace chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Propolis is an excellent repairing agent. If it is used together with
polysaccharide repairing agents, such as fucoidan,
and zymosan (ATP5), a good therapeutic effect can be
achieved.
Propolis is honored by medical scientists as
"mysterious and angelic substance", "the second sun of
nature", "the greatest natural medicine", "treasure house
of natural pharmacological substances", and is still called "modern
panacea" in Japan. ". It is not surprising that the breakthrough of
cancer cure and rehabilitation is pinned on propolis.
Note:
"DMSO + almond vinegar + propolis" is an excellent anti-cancer formula, which
has the effect of "attack-initiate repair-induce differentiation and
apoptosis", please refer to the relevant chapters.
